Shrub up to 2.5 m tall, semierect-scandent. Shoots minutely pubescent. Leaves opposite; leaflets 2-9, elliptic-ovate, lateral ones 20-30 x 10-21 mm, upper half serrate, acute-subacuminate, cuneate. Calyx 5 mm long, lobes broad triangular, margin pubescent. Corolla orange-red, tube 35-45 mm long, curved, pubescent within (near the base), base glandular. Stigma exserted. Capsule up to 7.5 cm long. (Flora of Pakistan)
