Plants 5-11 cm tall, glabrescent. Stems erect, solitary or clustered, unbranched. Leaves ovate-triangular or narrowly so, 5-8(-10) X 3-4 mm, margin slightly membranous, apex acute. Bract 1.5-2.3 cm X 5-8 mm, apex acuminate or subobtuse. Corolla white or pale yellow, 2.5-3.5 cm; tube 2.5-3 cm; lobes subequal, oblong, ca. 3 X 2 mm. Filaments 1.2-1.4 cm, sparsely pubescent on lower part; anthers ca. 1.8 mm. Ovary ellipsoid-globose. Style 1.3-1.6 cm, glabrous. Capsule 1-1.4 cm X 5-8 mm. Seeds ovoid, 0.3-0.4 X ca. 0.2 mm; testa reticulate. Fl. May-Jul, fr. Jul-Aug.(Flora of China)
