Bulb ovoid, ca. 1.5 cm in diam.; scales white, lanceolate, 1.5--2 cm × ca. 6 mm. Stem 20--70 cm, papillose. Leaves scattered, mostly in middle and distal parts of stem, linear, 10--14 cm × 2--5 mm, margin recurved. Flowers solitary or several in a raceme, nodding. Tepals greenish white, with dense, purple or purple-brown spots, lanceolate, 3--3.5 cm × 7--10 mm, margin revolute; nectaries with cristate projections on both surfaces. Filaments 2--2.2 cm, glabrous; anthers orange, narrowly oblong, 7--9 × ca. 2 mm. Ovary cylindric, 1--1.5 cm × ca. 2 mm. Style 1.2--1.5 cm. Capsule oblong, ca. 2 × 1.5 cm. Fl. Jul--Aug, fr.
