Leaf blade obovate, 7-15 × 2.5-5(-8) cm, thickly papery to leathery, abaxially greenish white and glabrous or sparsely pubescent, adaxially scabrid and minutely strigose; margin with 1-4 irregular teeth near apex; secondary veins 5-7 on each side of midvein. Achenes 2.5-3.5 mm in diam. (Flora of China)
