Stems tufted, sometimes solitary, few-branched. Basal leaves oblanceolate, 6–10 × 1–1.7 cm, 5–7-nerved, base tapering into petioles. Cauline leaves sessile, ovate-orbicular to broad-ovate, base subcordate, clasping. Rays 4–6; bracts 2–3, bracteoles 5–7, broad-ovate, slightly exceeding the flowers. Petals yellow. (Flora of China)
