Rhizome stout. Pseudobulbs 1-3 cm apart from each other, ovoid, usually 10-20 mm, 6-7 mm in diam., with a terminal leaf. Leaf shortly petiolate; blade oblong, varying in size, usually 22-25 × 4-5 mm, leathery. Scape from base of pseudobulb, erect, filiform, 10-14 cm, much longer than leaf; umbel 5-8-flowered; floral bracts small, 3-5 mm. Pedicel and ovary 3-7 mm, slender. Flowers small, dark red with purple-red veins. Dorsal sepal ovate, 3-3.5 × 1.5-2 mm, apex obtuse; lateral sepals lanceolate or linear, 5-7 × ca. 2 mm, abaxially glabrous, their upper and lower edges connate to each other forming a horn-shaped tube; lip recurved, ligulate, fleshy, attached to end of column foot by a mobile joint.
